  Mingara Aquatics; my son has been enrolled in swim classes and we have found the system to be very inflexible and the staff abrupt in their dealings with customers regarding attendance (both ourselves and friends with babies who attend). Asking for sick certificates on the same day of an illness in order to request an extension for an unattendable session due to illness is impractical and just rude. We have even been told just to attend even if ill if we don't want to miss a session and lose the money. This is the only reason acceptable if you happen to miss a session (provide certificate), yet you still have to pay for it. We have promptly cancelled our swimming because of this policy and because of the way the staff always deal with it in a poor manner. I'd rather pay more when we can attend and be treated better elsewhere. I even cancelled my gym membership because of this. Customers deserve to be treated better if they are paying for a service.
